RED says "Buy USA Made Products Please!" With the current economy , RED advises that it is crucial to support our local businesses. One simple way of doing this is by buying American made products. This may not always be as simple as it seems, as many things we buy in stores are made in other countries like China, India, etc. Asking store clerks, or even just checking labels helps, but there is another avenue. By doing some digging you can find places that deal strictly with American made products, and whole heartedly advertise this.

Should You Spend $ on Marketing in 2009?
With the economy and market down in the US, I ask myself, how do I survive and grow? Many shy away from innovation or doing anything differently at this time, instead sticking to their guns. While it may be true to some extent that this is the good, safe route, it doesn't mean you shouldn't market yourself.
RED says, If anything, this is where it is most important to maintain and grow business. You would be amazed at what marketing you can do on a limited budget.
1 Web marketing is sometimes free. Go using free sites such as Squidoo, or even blogs.
2 Use the power of social media sites to grow your network and establish yourself as an expert in your field. It requires dedication, hard work, and time, but the results can be worth it.
3 Print marketing is a good value as well. Call RED -330 475 0350 or go to Lighthouse Promotions for great for affordable printing, and sites such as Info USA for lists, or use your own.
4 You can market yourself using promotional items. Shirts, mugs, bags, and more have all been used effectively to get the word out about your brand. I have recently ordered pens, plastic bags, coffee mugs and post it pads with my logo-to keep my name in front of my customers. Its all about self-promotion.
Bottom line, yes we are all keeping our budgets tighter, but you can still find affordable ways to market. Like we said earlier, yes, marketing is still important in a down economy.
