Charity Of The Month
Urban Vision Ministry
We are recognizing one charity a month in 2010. Each receives a $500 gift from Lighthouse Promotions. Charities so far have been Stewarts Caring Place, COCINA (Haiti), Haven of Rest, DADS (Downs Syndrome), Thomas Hilt Allen Foundation (My Grandson's Foundation). Urban Vision Ministry in Akron Ohio started in 1992 reading the Christian Bible to urban children. Now, that vision has expanded to help families along with their children.
