Board Member Braves Lake Erie Waters for Cancer Charity
Check out the Pictures!
In the past, the dedicated and caring board members of Stewart's Caring Place’s have gone to great lengths to acquire resources in support of the cancer wellness center’s free programs and services. But, board member Gregory Hullinger's fundraiser was one to take special note of due to the physical discomfort he endured to help those touched by cancer.
Gregory did for a swim on New Year's Day, but not at a tropical beach. He took a polar bear plunge at Lake Erie's Huntington Beach on the first of January. He is accepting charitable sponsorships for this effort in support of Stewart's Caring Place.
Those wishing to sponsor Gregory's dip into the freezing waters off Ohio’s north shore can send their tax-deductible contribution to:
Stewart's Caring Place
2955 West Market Street, Suite R
Akron, Ohio 44333
Please note on your donation that it is for Gregory's Polar Bear Fundraiser.
Stewart’s Caring Place, a non-profit organization, offers individual and group counseling, support groups, educational resources, speakers, and healing art therapies, such as Yoga, Massage, Reiki and Tai Chi, to individuals facing cancer, as well as their family members and friends. All of the programs and services are provided free of charge.
